Update from David McKillop of McKillop and Gregory Estate Agents Tel 01722 414747
March 2018 has brought a very varied picture to the property market in Salisbury.
We have seen some extremely bad weather which has affected viewings and instructions. We have also had an international incident in the city centre which has affected people’s confidence and way of life but we have also seen a rapidly improving property market, especially with more purchasers coming from outside the area than we have seen for some time.
March 2018 has in fact been the best month we have had for around eighteen months both for instructions and sales and there is growing confidence in both buyers and sellers. It seems that a lot of people have decided if they want to move, to get on and do so and this has had a positive effect on activity levels in the Salisbury area.
With the improving weather through into April, I am very confident that this trend will continue, especially with more rural properties now coming onto the market with the daffodils and blossom appearing.
